Things to Consider When Choosing a Landscaping Professional

  • We are fully insured (and believe me we have the bills to prove it!)  You should never hire someone to work on your grounds unless they have full insurance coverage.

  • We are experienced:  I have been doing gardening work since my pre-teen years.  My education includes a bachelors in horticulture from Rutgers and an associates in business from Morris County College.  I was taught many things from my grandfather who was a gardener/landscaper in Bari, Italy before moving to New Jersey in the 1920's.  He  had the biggest garden in our neighborhood.   We fed the whole block and then some!  My grandfather taught me the old-fashioned "right way" of doing things and that is the way I train my employees to take care of my customers' grounds.

  • We only hire adults to work on your grounds, unlike some other landscapers who use high school and college students for summer job help.  Sal LeDonne Landscaping Contractors are all experienced and are personally trained by me.  My employees chose to become landscapers as a profession, not just do it for a summer job.

  • As the owner, I provide personal supervision of each job.  I personally train and supervise my employees and work at each job site.  Other companies have become too large too quick and have lost control of their work.  They create problems for themselves.

  • Pricing is important too!  Sal LeDonne Landscaping Contractors has been in business since 1979 and has done so by providing excellent quality work at very competitive pricing.  Much of our business comes from referrals of our satisfied customers.  Beware of too low a price just as you would for a too high a price.  Some contractors quote you a low price and proceed to cut corners by doing a sloppy job.  Some hire inexperienced help or cutting out expensive insurance premiums.  Remember, you get what you pay for.   Sal LeDonne Landscaping Contractors only knows one way to do the job--The Right Way.
